ARCHITEK CONTROLS

Slider Control Stations
Architek 1000 Series slider control stations include, but are not limited to the features and components described herein. Architek slider control stations are available in 1 to 12 channel versions (larger multi-slider custom stations are available as well). Stations with 2 or more channels also have a master control slider. Channel sliders are 1.8 inches (45 mm) in travel and are scaled from 0 to 10. A single Take Control button activates the station and removes control from all other Architek stations. The On (M) LED on the faceplate indicates the control station is powered and in control. When the station is not in control, the LED will glow dimly to make it easier to locate in a dark room. An unlimited number of control stations may be used in any control area. The number of dimmers assigned to any control area is unlimited, as long as they are controlled by the specified number of control channels on the Architek control station(s).

Each control station is wired to terminals in the dimmer enclosure with #18AWG wires. The maximum recommended length of control wire is 5000 feet (1524 m), to be supplied by contractor.

The control station faceplate is 1/16 inch thick aluminum with a brushed anodized, or painted finish. The finish and color must be specified at the time of quotation. Control station electronics are to be mounted in an approved back box (supplied by contractor).

Control voltage (0 to 10 VDC) is provided by the system power supply (+15 VDC) installed in the system dimmer enclosure.

Exclusive Stations

Panic (1000P)
The Panic station provides the ability to run all loads selected, to "Full" by overriding the dimmer electronics. This panel comes with an LED to indicate Panic "On", plus two (2) push-buttons. One is labeled "Panic" to enable, and one is labeled "Normal" to disable. Panic is also offered as an option on all Architek Series slider control stations.

Keyswitch Station (1000K)
A Keyswitch station is designed to lock out the use of selected control stations or the entire system. By use of 2 #18AWG conductors per station, any or all control stations may be locked out. Maximum wire lengths in connection with the Lock Out function shall be 2500 feet (762 m).

Janitor Station (1000J)
The Janitor station is a keyswitch station that is designed to turn on all or selected channels for cleaning purposes. This station requires 4#18AWG conductors and achieves much the same effect as Panic with the addition of key lock security. Maximum wire lengths in connection with this function shall be 5000 feet (1524 m).
