The Road Warrior 224D is a rugged 2 channel, 20 amp per channel commercial quality dimmer pack. Each channel will dim 2400 watts by means of dual SSR power devices. Full input power is supplied from two 20 amp L5-20 recessed male plugs. Using the holes provided in the back wrap of the pack, the Road Warrior may be pipe mounted via an industry standard C clamp, pipe batten mounted using 2 inch U-bolts or wall mounted using the appropriate wall mounting fasteners.

The DMX control signal is looped through the dimmer pack to enable slaving units together without requiring special cabling.

Typical uses of the Road Warrior 224D would include powering standard fixtures such as a 500 watt Fresnels or dimmer-per-circuit installations using 500 to 2000 watt Ellipsoidal spots or PAR cans on each channel. Road Warrior dimmers are well suited for use in most forms of theatrical production, clubs, trade show booths, musical productions, dance, and specialty architectural applications. Each channel is protected from overload by its own 20 Amp thermal magnetic circuit breaker.

The Road Warrior 224D operates solely on 120 volt AC power, at 60 hertz. Noise filtering is provided by a toroidal filter choke on each channel.

The Road Warrior 224D uses heavy-duty metal control connectors (XLR 5-pin) for durability and reliability. Each unit is designed to work well with the Executive Director and Producer series of control consoles from Teatronics Lighting Controls, Inc.

Road Warrior dimmers are ruggedly built of aluminum in a compact case for pipe or wall mounting. The circuitry is modular and circuit boards may be replaced quickly if needed using only a screwdriver and pliers...no soldering is required!
